So today is saturday, which means yesterday was friday. On friday we had our first chance to see our school and get oriented with the facilities. There nice. Very modern and up to date. But we will be stuck in the darkroom alot I think. I'm trying to convince Anna (our prof) to have a more digital workflow. Or at least allow it. I totally agree that first time photo student should learn in he darkroom and on traditional equip but I'd like to either use a Hybrid of 4x5 and scanning to digital or an all digital workflow. So besides that we went on this longgggggggg tiresome boat ride down the Seine. Which would have been interesting had been not rainy and gross. But it was rainy and gross, so bleh. It was nice to see all the sights though. and a good way for everyone to bond :)

I got the chance to take tons of very touristy photos, so thats what you'll see today. But hopefully when I get done writing this I'll be off with Bret, Emanda, and Ashley to the latin quarter to explore for our first project, and I'll get some nice shots then.

So last night was fun. A bunch of us all got together and went out to bar hop a little bit. We went to the Montparnesse area and found a couple nice places. The second one had bigger drinks and seemed like more of a cooler spot to hangout than the first. But they were both fun. After we got home a bunch of us hung out in our room for a little bit. We tried to find a Dominos that delivered at 3am but they close at 11! In providence they're open until 2! WTF anyways as it turns our the Dominos is pretty close actually so who knows, maybe we'll visit it sometime!

Apart from that I haven't had much bread or cheese. So SO depressing, so its my goal today to find a nice shop around the FIAP so I can satisfy my cravings for a baguette and cheeses. I should get going now though as we are about to leave, but Im going to try and post again tonight. I plan on staying in tonight, last night was alot of fun but I want to have a quiet night at least 1 night this weekend.
