Hi All

I saw this store in the mall we went to today to get our european phones. Minali had told me to lookout for them...Minali->Minelli yeah its almost the same. Anyways I know she'll appreciate this and I was excited to see one so soon! <3
This is a Paul. Over the past few years our family has taken trips to France and we have come to see Paul as the upscale french version of a mcdonalds. They serve yummy things, including the "Mixte" sandwich, which we find to be the family favorite!. I also saw this in the mall.

Hi All,

So I'm not much for blogging and such, but I am spending the next month or so in Paris on a school photography trip so it seems to me a sensible way to document my trip. I'm also not much for writing so what I have to say may seem banal or superfluous but its how I'll want to look back on my trip so in the kindest way possible deal. :)

Its already day 2 and its still somewhat confusing whats going to be happening. Most of our group arrived today and it was comforting to see familiar faces and get to socialize with others. Other than that we went out today as a group to see where our photo school will be and a small exhibit of a current student in their little gallery space. The work was ok...the wine was ok.....but the dinner afterward was a really nice treat. A bunch of us went to this little cafe called "Le Pure Cafe" just around the corner from our school. It was nice, kind of $$$ for simple cafe food, but delicious nonetheless.

In my effort to learn more french I've been trying to order and talk to store owners and other Parisians in french. Its helping me get used to it, but almost every time they respond with "I speak english too" So its been somewhat frustrating in learning more than I already know, hopefully it will get better.

Now seeing as this is a blog and a photo trip I will be posting photos, some just of things I see and others more serious work from this trip. Today I have two simple iPhone photos I snapped earlier today.
